Trade journal

A trading journal that keeps your real P&L.

Stocka keeps every buy and sell you make, with its fees and the cash it moved, and works out what each position really earned. Import your history from your broker, write down why you traded, and see your average cost on the chart. The journal is free.

Every trade, with its fees
Buys and sells with price, quantity, commission and cash. Your average cost and your realised and unrealised P&L follow from them.
Import from your broker
Trade files from Interactive Brokers (Activity Statement or Flex Query), Fidelity and Schwab import with no column mapping. Any other broker’s CSV imports once you match its columns.
Interactive Brokers sync
With Stocka Pro, connect an IBKR Flex Query and new executions arrive on their own. The same trade is never counted twice.
A note on each trade
Write down why you bought or sold, and read it again when you close the position.
Your cost on the chart
Your average cost is drawn on the price chart. The full-screen chart also marks every buy and sell on the bars, with RSI and MACD: with Stocka Pro on iPhone and iPad, free on the Mac.
Yours, and only yours
No account and no server holding your trades. The journal stays on your devices and syncs through your own iCloud Drive. Export it to CSV whenever you like.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is the trade journal free?

Yes. Recording trades, CSV import and export, and your P&L are free. Stocka Pro adds automatic sync from Interactive Brokers, capital-gains tax reports and the verdicts.

How do I import trades from Interactive Brokers?

Export an Activity Statement or a Flex Query as CSV and import it from the trade log. With Stocka Pro, create an Activity Flex Query and a Flex Web Service token in the IBKR Portal and enter both in Stocka’s broker settings; new trades then arrive on their own.

Which brokers can I import from?

Interactive Brokers, Fidelity and Schwab files are recognised as they are. A CSV from any other broker imports once you match its columns to date, symbol, quantity and price.

Can Stocka place trades for me?

No. Stocka is not a broker. It records the trades you make with your own broker and never sends an order on its own.

Where are my trades stored?

On your iPhone, iPad and Mac, with sync and backups in your own iCloud Drive. There is no Stocka account and no server holding your trades.
